Who we are
Built on experience. Driven by discipline.
Founded by professionals with deep roots in commercial finance and property, Hurworth Capital Partners Limited was established to fill a gap in the market — providing fast, reliable, secured capital to UK businesses when they need it most.
Our story
Hurworth Capital Partners Limited was founded by a team with decades of combined experience in finance, property, and business recovery. We recognised that many creditworthy UK businesses were being underserved by traditional lenders — too slow, too rigid, and too risk-averse to respond when time was critical.
We built Hurworth Capital Partners Limited to be different. Our model is straightforward: we lend against real assets, at conservative valuations, with clearly defined exit strategies. We move quickly, communicate clearly, and stand behind every decision we make.
Every loan we make is a considered commitment — to the borrower, to our investors, and to the integrity of our process.
Our values
Integrity
We say what we mean and do what we say. Our reputation is built on consistent, honest dealing with borrowers, investors and advisers alike.
Rigour
Every transaction is subject to thorough underwriting. We do not cut corners on security, valuation or legal structure.
Speed
We understand that time is often critical. Our processes are designed to move efficiently without compromising on quality.
Alignment
Our interests are aligned with those of our investors. We only succeed when our investors succeed.
Leadership
Our team brings together expertise across finance, property, and business recovery.
Nigel Jeffryes
Founder
Nigel Jeffryes has worked across financial markets, private finance, property and corporate advisory since 1986. Over a career spanning four decades, Nigel established and operated his own private financial practice. The practice conducted regulated financial services business within the applicable FCA-authorised framework, providing Nigel with extensive experience in private-client advice, finance structuring and the assessment of investment opportunities.
Nigel was also instrumental in establishing Joyne Finance Corporation, a British Virgin Islands company administered from Guernsey. This experience broadened his understanding of international corporate structures, investment administration and cross-border financial arrangements.
In more recent years, Nigel's work has increasingly focused on commercial property, restructuring, distressed situations and the preservation and recovery of value. This experience led to the formation of Hurworth Capital Partners Limited.
Hurworth Capital Partners Limited brings together Nigel's background in financial markets, commercial finance, property and business recovery. Its approach is founded on disciplined underwriting, conservative valuations, clearly defined exit strategies and first-ranking security over approved fixed assets.
Nigel oversees the identification, evaluation and structuring of prospective transactions, working alongside solicitors, valuers, accountants and other specialist professional advisers as required.
